In recent days, a misleading and inaccurate report was published in reference to the institution and connected individuals. Whilst the article does not warrant a response, we felt a short statement should be sent to reassure our stakeholders.
Our associated organisations are committed to the spiritual and moral development of learners and to provide the congregation the ability to practice their religion in peace respectively.
As a richly diverse city, we are part of a strong collaborative community, based on mutual trust and respect; divisive factors of any form should not be allowed to disconnect our communities and we remain fervently committed to our collective pursuit to build a stronger city and indeed Britain together.
We would like to thank everyone for their warm words of support from across the community, representing those of different faiths, no faith and statutory bodies. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this intrusion may have caused our young people and service users and thank them also for their patience.
Rest assured as a management we are working tirelessly to ensure the matter is addressed in an appropriate manner. There will be no further comment at this point.
